The Salumatics Foundation strives to make a positive, lasting impact in local communities. We’re passionate about using our resources to forge meaningful partnerships with a variety of charitable organizations, making sure that our reach goes well beyond our own doors. From hands-on volunteer work to various fundraising and charitable efforts, The Salumatics Foundation is dedicated to change that truly makes a difference.
The Salumatics Foundation is not only actively partnered with a number of different charities, but we also extend our charitable efforts to numerous fundraising ventures. Whether it’s taking part in events such as the Ride to Conquer Cancer or collecting donations for various food and toy drives, the Salumatics Foundation is an all-encompassing effort to bring real, meaningful change through fundraising and outreach. We believe there’s tremendous power in coming together to help those in need, and we want to lead the way.

Charities We Support
The Enbridge® Ride to Conquer Cancer®
The Salumatics Foundation knows that cancer hits close to home for so many families, and that’s why we’re proud to support The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. For 12 years the Ride has been a place for people to come together with conviction and passion and, through a cycling journey, fundraise for an important cause that’s personal to so many of us. Millions of dollars have been raised to benefit the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and our riders have been a big part of that.
Suicide is the leading health-related cause of death amongst young people in Canada. Jack.org is a charity specifically designed to not only raise awareness about mental health issues affecting young people, but also empower young leaders to think about ways we can revolutionize how we think about mental health. Every young person deserves an opportunity at a bright future, and we want to do our part in making sure that the people in need are getting the access to resources they need, which is why The Salumatics Foundation is proud to support Jack.org and such a worthy, urgent cause.
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
The Heart and Stroke Foundation has been fighting heart disease and stroke for more than 60 years, making a remarkable, long-lasting impact that has saved and improved lives. This charity has put billions of dollars into life-saving research, which in turn has helped significantly reduce the mortality rate from heart disease and stroke. The Salumatics Foundation believes in partnering with charities that actively seek to improve the lives of everyone. The Heart and Stroke Foundation does just that, promoting a healthier lifestyle in schools and the workplace alongside their investment in research and resources.
MS Society of Canada
For years the MS Society has been providing services to people with multiple sclerosis while also offering support to their families and funding research in an attempt to find a cure for the disease. MS Society was founded in 1948 and since then has grown to a membership of 17,000. As the only national voluntary organization dedicated to supporting both MS research and services, their work is crucial to fighting against the disease. Drawing support from dedicated and passionate individuals, companies, and foundations, the MS Society has been able to bring care and research to people in need.
Pelham Cares is so much more than just a food bank. For more than 30 years they’ve been bringing all sorts of social services to those in the Pelham area. What began as the collecting and donating of food has grown into an all-encompassing service that includes the collection of personal hygiene and household items for donation, transportation for medical appointments, and a number of sponsorship opportunities related to youth sports and recreation programs. The Salumatics Foundation sees the benefit of direct, local action, and that’s why we continue to support Pelham Cares in a variety of ways.
Christmas is a time for giving, but too often there are families that have to go without during the holidays. That’s where the Toy Mountain Toy Drive comes in. For years the Toy Drive has been collecting new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 14. Relying on community efforts and partnerships with local and national media, the Toy Mountain Toy Drive has successfully brought the spirit and joy of Christmas to families in need time and again. The Salumatics Foundation is proud to support this charity through volunteer and fundraising efforts.
Get Involved & Begin Making A Difference!
Support for The Salumatics Foundation comes from many places, but our own We-Cycle program is a wonderful branch of our efforts. Through environmentally safe, secure document destruction, our We-Cycle program not only helps raise money to further the goals of The Salumatics Foundation, but it’s also a simple way for anyone to get involved and begin making a difference.
